This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds work on the QuizCash mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you accept the rules below.
1. Scope
This Policy covers:
- Wallet deposits
- Quiz contest entry fees
- Institution subscription plans (Free, Premium)
- In-app bonus credits and promotional balances
- Cancelled or failed transactions
2. Wallet Deposits
- Funds deposited into your QuizCash wallet via Razorpay or another authorised payment partner are non-refundable once successfully credited.
- Deposited funds may be used to enter cash-prize quiz contests or withdrawn (subject to KYC completion and TDS deduction under §7).
- If a deposit is debited from your bank/UPI but does not reflect in your QuizCash wallet within 24 hours, contact support@quizcash.in with the transaction reference. Verified failed deposits are reversed to the original payment instrument within 5–7 business days.
3. Quiz Contest Entry Fees
- Entry fees for joined contests are non-refundable. Once you confirm participation, your entry fee is debited from the wallet and added to the contest prize pool.
- You may withdraw from a contest only before it starts (where the contest interface explicitly provides this option). Post-start withdrawal forfeits the entry fee.
- If a contest is cancelled by QuizCash due to a technical fault, insufficient participants (where minimum-entry rules apply), or any operational reason, the full entry fee is credited back to your wallet within 24 hours.
4. Bonus and Promotional Credits
- Bonus credits, promotional balances, and referral rewards are non-withdrawable unless explicitly stated otherwise in the offer terms.
- Bonus credits may be used for entry fees only, in accordance with the applicable offer's wagering or usage conditions.
- Promotional offers may have expiry dates; unused credits past their expiry are forfeited.
5. Institution Subscription Plans
- The Free plan incurs no charge and requires no refund processing.
- Paid Premium plans purchased by institutions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Refunds for paid subscriptions are available only within 7 days of the initial purchase if no quizzes have been hosted under the plan. Pro-rata refunds are not provided after this window.
- To cancel a subscription, the institution administrator must request cancellation from the institution settings or by writing to support@quizcash.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Failed and Duplicate Transactions
If your payment is debited but the corresponding wallet credit, contest entry, or subscription activation does not occur, raise a ticket with support@quizcash.in within 30 days. Include the date, amount, payment-gateway reference ID, and your registered email/mobile. Verified failures are refunded to the original payment instrument within 5–7 business days.
7. Withdrawals and TDS
Withdrawals from your QuizCash wallet are not refunds — they are payouts. Withdrawals require KYC completion (PAN) and are subject to 30% TDS on net winnings under Section 194BA of the Income-tax Act, 1961, deducted at the time of withdrawal or financial-year close, whichever is earlier. The post-TDS amount is credited to your linked bank account or UPI within 1–5 business days. Once initiated, a withdrawal request cannot be cancelled by the user.

9. Forfeiture in Cases of Fraud
QuizCash reserves the right to withhold or reverse any refund, wallet balance, or prize if the related transaction is found to involve fraud, multi-accounting, collusion, chargebacks, disputed payments, or any breach of our Terms & Conditions.
10. Chargebacks
Users are expected to resolve concerns directly with QuizCash before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. Unauthorised or unjustified chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of the account and forfeiture of wallet balances pending resolution.

QuizCash is an educational quiz platform. Cash-prize features are available to users 18 and over and only where lawful.
