These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the QuizCash mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by QuizCash ("we", "our", "us"). QuizCash is an educational quiz platform offering practice quizzes, exam preparation, institution-hosted assessments, and skill-based knowledge contests with optional cash prizes. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
- Educational features — practice quizzes, exam preparation, institution-hosted assessments — are available to all users. Minors using these features through an institution must have parental or guardian consent collected by the institution.
- Cash-prize contests and prize withdrawals are available only to users aged 18 years or older and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- You must comply with all applicable laws of your state. Where local laws restrict participation in any cash-prize feature, you must refrain from such participation.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Employees of QuizCash and their immediate family members are prohibited from participating in cash-prize contests.
2. Nature of the Platform
QuizCash is an educational and skill-based quiz platform. Outcomes of every quiz and contest are determined by participants' knowledge, accuracy, and speed — not by chance. The Platform is not a gambling, betting, lottery, or game-of-chance service.
The Platform offers three modes of use:
- Practice quizzes for self-study, available free of charge.
- Institution-hosted quizzes & exams for schools, colleges, and tutoring institutions to assess their students.
- Cash-prize knowledge contests with optional paid entry, where prizes are awarded based on score and speed.
3. Account Registration and KYC
- You may create only one account. Multi-accounting is grounds for permanent suspension and forfeiture of balances.
- Before participating in cash-prize contests or withdrawing winnings, you must complete KYC by providing a valid PAN. Additional KYC may be required to comply with PMLA and Income-tax obligations.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Contests, Entry Fees and Prizes
- Each contest is governed by these Terms and any specific rules displayed for that contest.
- Entry fees, prize pools, contest duration, and winner determination are clearly displayed before entry.
- QuizCash retains a platform fee from each contest, disclosed in the contest details.
- Winners are determined by score, then by time taken on tie-break, per the published rules.
- Prize amounts are credited to your QuizCash wallet upon contest completion.
5. Deposits and Withdrawals
- Deposits are processed via Razorpay or other authorised payment partners. Deposits add to your wallet and may be used to enter cash-prize contests.
- Withdrawals require KYC completion (PAN). Withdrawals are processed to your linked bank account or UPI within standard banking timelines (typically 1–5 business days).
- Bonus credits and promotional balances are non-withdrawable unless explicitly stated.
- We reserve the right to verify identity and source of funds before processing withdrawals, in accordance with PMLA, 2002.
6. Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) — Section 194BA
Under Section 194BA of the Income-tax Act, 1961, QuizCash is required to deduct income tax at the rate of 30% on the net winnings from online games at the time of withdrawal or at the end of the financial year, whichever is earlier.
- "Net winnings" is computed as: (Total Withdrawals + Closing Balance) − (Total Deposits + Opening Balance) for the financial year.
- TDS is deducted automatically before crediting your withdrawal.
- Form 16A (TDS certificate) will be issued, and the deduction reflected in your Form 26AS / AIS.
- If your PAN is invalid or not linked to Aadhaar, a higher TDS rate may apply per applicable law.
7. Refund Policy
- Deposits made into your wallet are non-refundable once credited.
- Entry fees for joined contests are non-refundable except where a contest is cancelled by QuizCash due to a technical failure — in which case the entry fee is credited back to your wallet.

8. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use any bot, automated script, OCR, screen reader, or third-party tool to gain an unfair advantage.
- Collude with other users, share answers, or coordinate gameplay.
- Create or use multiple accounts.
- Exploit bugs or glitches; you must report them to support immediately.
- Impersonate another person or provide false information.
- Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any other illegal purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform.
- Upload abusive, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of wallet balance (including deposits), and reporting to law-enforcement authorities.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including software, questions, designs, logos, trademarks, graphics, and text — is the exclusive property of QuizCash or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have:
- Breached these Terms.
- Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
- Provided false KYC information.
- Created multiple accounts.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@quizcash.in, subject to applicable retention obligations under tax and AML laws.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuizCash and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to QuizCash in the three months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold QuizCash, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, without prejudice to any prior arbitration as per §15.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by writing to support@quizcash.in. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by QuizCash, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, and the language English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance.
